We provide all the materials; you just need to bring your own snacks and drinks to stay energized. Be mindful of allergens. Wear old clothes, as some art activities can be messier than others. If your child cannot attend our camp for the entire week or day, part-time options are available. Please contact us before booking.

Our 30 min (daily) Art History Class

offers a fun and engaging experience with PLAY & LEARN: The Professor Noggin’s series of educational card games inspires kids to discover fascinating facts about their favorite topics.

FUN FACTS: Travel back in time to uncover the mysteries of Ancient Civilizations. Learn about ancient locations, philosophers, structures, arts, clothing, empires, and more on this historical adventure, or explore famous artists from Leonardo da Vinci to Andy Warhol in the History of Art kids card game, covering various topics from individuals to eras.

Day 1:

Activity #1 The Star-Catcher Tree: Universal Blacklight Project

In a burst of color and imagination, kids transform a black canvas into a vibrant neon universe. Electric pinks, radiant greens, luminous yellows, and striking blues blend into a cosmic scene pulsing with energy. Each paint splash represents a burst of creativity, depicting galaxies and starry skies. Once the canvas is filled, they overlay a striking silhouette of a tree with branches reaching upward, appearing to catch glowing stars. The contrast between the dark silhouette and vivid background enhances the magical world, inviting viewers to explore the beauty and limitless possibilities of creativity.

Activity #2 Custom Tic-Tac-Toe Boards: Children flatten a square piece of clay and use a ruler or popsicle stick to create a 3x3 grid. Next, they craft 10 small game pieces, such as 5 mini pumpkins and 5 mini ghosts for an autumn theme, or 5 frogs and 5 flies or anything by their choice.

Activity #3 DIY weaving

is a relaxing, beginner-friendly craft. With just cardboard, yarn, a tapestry needle, and scissors, you can create customizable wall hangings, coasters, and tapestries, using fabric scraps or colorful yarn.

Use a durable piece of cardboard and cut small slits (approximately 1 cm or 1/4 inch deep) evenly spaced along the top and bottom edges. Warp the loom.
Thread a tapestry needle (made out of cardboard) with the yarn you'll be using. Weave the needle over the first warp string, under the second, over the third, and continue in this pattern.
On the return pass, reverse the process: go under the warp threads you previously went over. This forms the locking "plain weave" pattern.
Gently push the woven rows down with your fingers or a comb to ensure your stitches remain tight and even.

Day 2:

Activity #1 Canvas totes

are another fantastic medium for personal expression. These versatile bags can be customized through fabric paints, stencils, or appliqué techniques, allowing individuals to showcase their style while promoting sustainability. Whether for grocery shopping, beach outings, or daily errands, a uniquely designed canvas tote can make a statement while being functional.

Activity #2 Geometric Tape-Resist Landscapes

Kids use painter's tape to create crisp, sharp, professional-looking lines that frame vibrant watercolor sunsets or mountains.

Then they apply low-tack painter's tape or masking tape to crisscross their paper, creating sharp mountain peaks or a grid of geometric shapes. They paint inside the taped-off sections using warm sunset colors (reds, oranges, yellows) or cool forest tones. Once the paint is dry, they carefully peel the tape away to reveal pristine, bright white borders.

Activity #3 Embellishing a Treasure Box

Decoupage: Dive into the exciting world of decoupage by sticking vibrant paper, fabric, or images onto a box and sealing it with a glossy finish! This technique lets you create stunningly detailed designs and patterns that truly stand out.

Gemstones and Beads: Add a dazzling touch to your box by incorporating gemstones, beads, or sequins! These sparkling elements transform your creation into a shiny, eye-catching masterpiece. Glue them onto the surface or arrange them into playful patterns and designs for a spectacular effect.

Day 3:

Activity #1 Decorating plates

offers a unique opportunity to transform everyday dinnerware into stunning art pieces. Using food-safe paints or decoupage techniques, one can create beautiful designs that make mealtime more enjoyable. These decorative plates can be used for special occasions or displayed as part of home décor, adding a touch of individuality to your dining experience.

Activity#2 Hand fan

To create a basic, classic hand fan, take a sheet of strong paper (A4) and fold it in an accordion pattern. Pinch one end to gather the folds, and firmly secure the bottom with tape. For added strength, you can attach popsicle sticks to each outer edge before unfolding the fan.

You will also need:

A metal paper fastener
Strong craft glue or double-sided tape
Scissors, a hole punch, and a ruler

Finishing Touches: Embellish the wooden handles using markers, wrap them with yarn for better grip, and check the airflow.

Activity#3 Monoprints The Pencil Crayon "Color-In"

This method reverses conventional art by having children print a dark background initially, resulting in clean white lines that they can color afterward.

The creative process:

Apply a thin, even layer of dark paint (such as black or navy blue) onto the plastic tray.
Children use a Q-tip to remove the paint, creating a detailed scene reminiscent of a coloring book (such as dragons, cityscapes, or mandalas).
Place white paper onto the tray and then peel it away. This results in a solid dark page bordered by sharp, unpainted white lines. Allow it to dry for 10–15 minutes.
Children use colored pencils, gel pens, or markers to fill in the white lines. The dark background enhances the colors, making them stand out like neon lights.

Day 4:

Activity#1 Glowing Bioluminescent Jellyfish Workshop

Theme: A deep-sea summer project emphasizing blending, gradients, and sharp contrast.
Participants will engage in various artistic techniques to capture the essence of the underwater world, utilizing both traditional and digital mediums. The project will focus on the use of color theory to understand how different colors interact and blend seamlessly, creating a harmonious visual experience that reflects the tranquility of deep-sea ecosystems.
Materials: Black cardstock, painter's tape, neon pastels, black paint, white paint, a toothbrush/brush, and cardboard templates.

Activity#2 Glitter Slime

are a fascinating craft that combines the fun of slime-making with imaginative play. Once the slime reaches the desired consistency, the real fun begins—adding glitter! You can choose from a variety of glitter colors.

Activity#3 Face painting on a Styrofoam mannequin or on a Full face Paper Mache masks (depending on the supplies available)

is a vibrant and expressive art form that transforms the human canvas into a work of art, often seen at festivals, parties, and community events. Utilizing a variety of non-toxic paints, participants can create intricate designs ranging from simple patterns to elaborate characters, allowing individuals, especially children, to embody their favorite superheroes, animals, or fantasy creatures. This engaging activity not only enhances the festive atmosphere but also encourages creativity and self-expression among participants.

Day 5:

Activity# Designing Custom Pillowcases

Designing custom pillowcases is a wonderful way to personalize your bedroom decor. This craft project can involve fabric paints, markers, or even iron-on transfers to create unique designs that reflect individual styles and interests.

Activity#2 Mini Landscapes on a magnetic canvas

Lavender Fields: A pink-purple gradient sky with fine-dotted flower stems.
Ocean Sunset: Warm sky tones contrasting with a deep blue sea and water reflections.
Sweet Treats: Colorful cupcakes, stacked pastel macarons, or cake slices.

Activity#3 Mural making

In this 1-hour collaborative workshop, children aged work together to create a large amusement park mural on a 4m x 1m paper roll laid flat on the floor.

Spatial Setup

The Grid: 4 kids sit on one long side, and 4 sit directly opposite them.
The Zones: The 4meter paper is divided into 4 thematic quadrants: Rollercoaster Hub, Treehouse Village, Sci-Fi Arcade, and Aqua Water Park.

Core Activities

Track Infrastructure: Children use thick black markers to create interconnected paths, monorails, and rollercoaster loops that unite all sections.
Megastructure Blocking, Populating & Detailing: Children switch to markers, oil pastels to outline big and add small details like riders, arcade screens, ladders, and water splashes.
Collaboration Prompts: The instructor encourages children to connect power lines, bridge water pathways, and draw park mascots visiting neighboring zones.
