Each person has a canvas in front of them. Every participant gets 10 minutes to work on their own piece before passing it to another participant. This process allows them to collectively create a masterpiece, with each person contributing a part of themselves to every art piece.

##Hand fan

To create a basic, classic hand fan, take a sheet of strong paper (A4) and fold it in an accordion pattern. Pinch one end to gather the folds, and firmly secure the bottom with tape. For added strength, you can attach popsicle sticks to each outer edge before unfolding the fan.

You will also need:

• A metal paper fastener

• Strong craft glue or double-sided tape

• Scissors, a hole punch, and a ruler

##Bottles upscaling

##Create linocut cards

Materials Required

• Lino Block

• Printing Ink

• A soft rubber roller for even ink application.

• Paper/Cards

• Spoon: Used to press the paper firmly onto the inked block

  Begin by sketching your design on a piece of paper. Keep in mind that the final print will be a mirror image.

  Trace your design, position the tracing paper graphite-side down on the block, and rub the back to transfer the image. Always carve away from your hands. Print it on the paper card.

##Crayon resist

Crayon and watercolor art: Wax crayons repel water, so any area you draw on the paper will resist the wet paint. This allows you to create stunning, vibrant, and textured artworks.

You'll Need:

• Heavy, high-quality watercolor paper

• Standard wax crayons.

• Liquid or pan watercolor paints

• A soft paintbrush and a jar of water

  Use crayons to create shapes, patterns, or outlines on your paper. You can even use a white crayon on white paper for a "secret" design that appears with the watercolor application. Press the crayons firmly and then brush over with watercolors.

  While the watercolor paint is still wet, sprinkle standard table salt over your painting. The salt will absorb the pigment, creating a bubbly, textured effect as it dries. Once fully dry, simply brush the salt off.

##Painting with a coffee

Using coffee to create art is an environmentally friendly and accessible method that employs brewed coffee as a natural watercolor medium.

You'll need instant coffee powder, watercolor paper, brushes, mixing palettes or bowls, a hair dryer (to speed up drying times), and paper towels (useful for lifting paint).

• Layering: Start with your lightest wash and allow it to fully dry (a hair dryer can speed this up).

• Textures: Experiment by sprinkling sea salt or placing a piece of plastic wrap on wet coffee washes. Once dry, remove them to uncover distinctive, organic patterns.

##DIY weaving

is a relaxing, beginner-friendly craft. With just cardboard, yarn, a tapestry needle, and scissors, you can create customizable wall hangings, coasters, and tapestries, using fabric scraps or colorful yarn.

•  Use a durable piece of cardboard and cut small slits (approximately 1 cm or 1/4 inch deep) evenly spaced along the top and bottom edges. Warp the loom.

• Thread a tapestry needle with the yarn you'll be using. Weave the needle over the first warp string, under the second, over the third, and continue in this pattern. 

• On the return pass, reverse the process: go under the warp threads you previously went over. This forms the locking "plain weave" pattern.

Each pattern is created using basic elements such as dots, lines, curves, S-curves, and orbs.

In Zentangle, there are no "wrong" strokes. Any unexpected mark can be integrated into the pattern.

The 8-Step Method:

1. Gratitude & Appreciation: Pause to appreciate your resources and acknowledge your own worth.

2. Four Dots: Use a pencil to place four light dots at the corners of your tile.

3. Border: Use a pencil line to connect the dots and create a boundary for your artwork.

4. String: Inside the border, draw lines to divide the space into smaller sections.

5. Tangle: Fill each section with repetitive designs using a fine-tip pen.

6. Shade: Use pencil shading and blending to bring depth and vitality to your flat drawing.

7. Initial & Sign: Initial your artwork on the front, and record the date and details on the back.

8. Appreciate: Extend your arm and hold your tile to admire your creation.

It beautifully upcycles fabric scraps, embracing the wabi-sabi aesthetic of finding beauty in imperfection and transience, without needing advanced artistic skills.

• High-density XPS or insulation foam board.

2. Alternatives to Specialized Suminagashi Dyes

• Thinned Gouache/Watercolor: If ink drops aren't available, you can gently thin opaque gouache or watercolor with water and add a small amount of dish soap to aid in floating.

• Natural/Alternative Dyes: Some artists have success using concentrated liquid dyes or even concentrated organic dye baths (such as turmeric, avocado, or black bean) for a more subtle, earthy effect.

Manga are Japanese comic books and graphic novels read from right to left.
